FORMER England ace Ugo Ehiogu has passed on in the hospital after suffering from a cadiac arrest Tottenham’s training ground on Thursday.
According to Tottenham’s official website, The 44-year-old was taken to hospital by ambulance after receiving urgent treatment by the club’s medical staff at Hotspur Way in Enfield, North London and announced that he had passed away in the early hours of Friday morning.
He was coaching Spurs’ Under-23 side at the time of his death.
Ehiogu enjoyed a playing career at the highest level having represented Aston Villa and Middlesbrough over 350 times.He also earned four caps for England.
Tributes from across the footballing world were paid to Ehiogu yesterday after the announcement.
