Leading ‘DIY’ social media design and service platform, Social Media Creatives, is set to hold a practical and hands-on training on online Brand Management and Social Media Marketing, to help SME’s improve their branding and marketing activities on social medium on Thursday, November 1st, 2018.
The training is meant to equip SMEs with in-depth knowledge on brand building and positioning, creating brand stories and developing communication that resonates with the target market, sales-driven marketing techniques using social media and use of social metrics to measure progress towards conversion.
Speakers that will be present at this training are managers in top industries such as retail, financial and e-commerce industry, and have made giant strides in brand management and social media marketing. These speakers will be sharing industry secrets, proven strategies, the right execution approach and insight that will empower small businesses on how to generate revenue through these highly converting channels.

Facilitators include Damola Adeniyi, Digital Marketing Manager and Communications, Dangote Group. Damola started out his professional career as a sustainability officer in Access Bank Plc. and thereafter worked in other capacities as web manager/content marketer and social media manager for the same organization. Presently, he works for Dangote Group where he leads and oversee implementation of the group’s digital media strategy.
Modupe Ogunyemi, Head of Marketing, Bounce News. Modupe is a seasoned media and marketing communications professional with solid work experience spanning both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. A graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan with a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
Thereafter, she joined Free Ads Classifieds, a UK online media company as the first Nigerian Online Marketing Executive and has since worked in various capacities for several top companies including Access Bank and Konga where she led the online marketing teams. She currently works for South African media giant, Media24, Naspers Group as the company’s Head of Marketing for Bounce News.
The one-day intensive training, themed How to Position and Grow Your Business in The Overcrowded Social Media Marketplace is free but registration is compulsory to be a participant.
