Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is furious after his team’s XI was leaked to Chelsea ahead of the Premier League clash on Saturday, according to a report.
The manager is set to launch an internal investigation to find out who has been leaking his tactics.
The former Real Madrid boss intended to spring a surprise at Chelsea by naming Juan Mata in his starting XI, with the Spaniard going on to play a key role in creating United’s second goal as well as shackling Jorginho.
The newspaper, however, reports that Mourinho woke up on Saturday morning furious to find out that his starting XI for the match had been accurately posted on social media several hours before kick-off.
Key backroom staff and the players are the only ones aware of the team that would face Chelsea, and Mourinho was livid that his line-up had been allowed to get in the open.
The manager felt it gave his former club an insight into his tactics for the match at Stamford Bridge, with Mata’s inclusion in particular key to getting a result.
Now the Portuguese is desperate to find the source of the leak and stop it, having also seen his starting XI disclosed in advance of playing West Ham last month.
