165 Nigerians Make Voluntary Return From Libya

A total of 165 Nigerians in Libya on Thursday made a voluntary return to the country.

The returnees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos Cargo area at  9:45 p.m with the assistance of the International Organisation for migration.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) zonal coordinator, Yakubu Suleiman received the returnees on behalf of the Federal Government from the IOM Head of Mission in Nigeria, Enira Krdzalic.

Krdzalic pointed out that that IOM, with assistance from the European Union, has repatriated 7,746 Nigerians back to the country.

She also asked the Nigerian government to enhance efforts in the provision of employable opportunities to the returning youths.
